Vikas Thumar is a development professional with 5 years of experience working with pastoral and agricultural communities in Kachchh and Saurashtra, Gujarat.

Holding a Master’s degree in Social Work, he focuses on ecological farming, rural livelihoods, and community institution building.

Currently, at Satvik – Promoting Ecological Farming, he works on natural farming promotion, soil health, and conservation of indigenous seeds through women-led seed systems while strengthening Panchayat-level committees. Vikas emphasizes community ownership, grassroots mobilization, and sustainable rural development tailored to local contexts.

She plays a key role in implementing project activities related to seed systems, organic produce marketing, and soil health initiatives. Nandni also facilitates community meetings and workshops, promoting knowledge exchange, active participation, and collective problem-solving among community members.
